There is often a story behind Lars Tunebo's pictures, like the one with the elephants on Brooklyn Bridge. When the bridge was built, people were afraid that it would collapse and to disprove the fear, a circus director was hired who crossed the bridge with a whole train of elephants. Lars Tunebo likes to adapt his motifs to places he visits with his exhibitions or is inspired by the place where he is. The same motif can recur in different shapes. Motifs with exotic animals in urban environments were made from the beginning for an animal rights organization. "It's my way of showing that you can have the animals on the wall without shooting them."

Serigraphy in limited edition

The image series with animals in well-known city environments is created with a basis of photo collage and digitally processed images that in the final stage are printed with classic silkscreen printing, serial graphics. The edition is 180 copies, signed by the artist and numbered.
